Imagine Picasso retraces and enhances Pablo Picasso’s work, from classical periods (such as la periode Bleue, la période Rose) to Cubisms to surrealism and other penciled or even sculpted forms of expressions. This exhibition will take the visitor on a journey through the revolutionary career of the modern art master, Pablo Picasso. The immersive show brings more than 200 of Picasso’s art pieces together in one place at one time, offering a unique look into the evolution of the prolific artist. Imagine Picasso is paired with music carefully chosen to embrace the paintings and its atmosphere.

When it seems that everything has been said and done about Picasso, Imagine Picasso offers a new perspective on the artist's work. The paintings are projected onto the extraordinary volumes of architect Rudy Ricciotti (architect of the Louvre) to give a new vision of the master. In museums, we do not have any discernement on the details of the work other than it’s iconographic reading ; the purpose of this exhibition is to investigate, to see Picasso’s work closer. We enter into this immersive phenomenon which gives us a different readability, with the lack of verticality. The supports created by Ricciotti aim to show a state of decomposition, of fragmentation of the painting.
